Obsessed (2009) movie full story

Derek Charles (played by Idris Elba) is a man who is successful in his work. He has a big new house, a beautiful wife , Sharon (played by Beyonce Knowles) and a child, Kyle (played by Nathan Mayers). His life was so perfect, until when he met Lisa (played by Ali Larter), a beautiful and sexy blonde girl , who worked as a contract employee in the office where she worked. It was their introduction that finally brought disaster to Derek and his family .

At first, Lisa was very sympathetic. Even though Derek was surprised, because somehow, he was always around him in the office. At one time, Lisa replaced Patrick's job (played by Matthew Humphreys), Derek's gay assistant. When Derek had recovered from his illness, Lisa was in charge of replacing Marge (played by Bonnie Perlman), assistant Joe (played by Bruce McGill), Derek's boss.

But he didn't bother too much, because it turned out that Lisa's performance was more thorough and agile than Patrick's. Unbeknownst to her, Lisa often steals with Derek's conversation with Sharon on the phone, he also often enters Derek's room and investigates her belongings. In this way he learned Derek's favorite type of music, then sent a CD containing the song to Derek the next day. Derek was happy with Lisa's attention.

But Sharon strongly opposed it. He did not like Derek having a female assistant especially as beautiful as Lisa. He ordered to fire Lisa as soon as possible. Derek went awry because he couldn't find anything wrong with Lisa. He just said yes to his wife's request without taking action too seriously towards Lisa.

Derek and Lisa's relationship is getting closer, especially after Derek found Lisa was crying in the pantry. Lisa told me that he was having a problem with a man. He loves men who are handsome and successful, but are married and happy. He felt that his life had no meaning anymore. But, Derek comforted her and said that Lisa had to keep going forward and don't be sad because of that man. Because Lisa is beautiful and has a bright future. Lisa was very happy to hear Derek's advice.

But, Ben (played by Jerry OConnel), Derek's best friend in the office, smells suspicious signs from Lisa's behavior. While joking, he warned Derek to be careful, because it seemed Lisa was in love with him. Derek didn't really respond to Ben's rant, because basically he didn't have any feelings for Lisa. He loved Sharon more than anyone and Lisa also knew that he was married.

But it turns out Derek is wrong. Lisa is indeed making plans to approach and tease him. His first plan was carried out at Christmas in his office, where no one was allowed to bring his partner. Because of this, Sharon cannot participate. Initially, Lisa was only teasing for Derek to kiss her cheek under the mistletoe leaf. But Derek refused and decided to go home, because he was already exhausted. But Lisa managed to follow him while he was on the toilet and tried to take off his clothes and pants. Derek managed to scold him and left the place.

On the way he continued to fret because he felt guilty. He knew now, that Lisa was indeed intending to tease him. But he didn't dare to tell Sharon about this problem, for fear Sharon thought he was the one who teased Lisa at first. So he said nothing and hoped that the problem would be resolved quickly and with his refusal, Lisa would stop chasing after him. But, he was wrong again.

Because the next day, Lisa managed to intercept him in the parking lot when Derek got into the car. When he apologized for his behavior at the party yesterday, Derek began to calm down. But he was surprised when Lisa suddenly opened all his clothes and teased Derek. He angrily scolded Lisa and told her to get out. The offended Lisa could only stare at Derek's car that had gone angrily.

Derek told the problem to Ben. His friend suggested that Derek contact the HR department to fire Lisa, but he had to be careful, because Lisa could have made a complaint that turned to accuse Derek of sexual harassment with him. When Derek met with the HR manager, Hank (played by Rick Ruccolo), to discuss Lisa's problems, Hank said that it turned out that Lisa had indeed resigned that day.

Derek could breathe easily, because in the end he would never see the tempting girl again. And he also doesn't need to worry if Lisa will complain that he has sexually harassed her.

After returning from a New Year celebration, Derek received an e-mail containing photos of Lisa in a sexy pose. That's when he realized that Lisa hadn't really left him. He kept watching Derek from a distance and waited for the moment to act again. Derek felt uneasy, but he still decided not to tell Sharon anything about this problem. A very wrong decision.

A few days later, Derek attended an event at the hotel with his office colleagues. That's where for the first time he met again with Lisa, after he resigned from the office. Lisa teases him but Derek insists on refusing. Lisa just smiled and said that she would keep trying to get Derek to sleep with her. Without Derek's knowledge, he managed to put sleeping pills into Derek's drink glass.

The drug reacts and makes Derek stagger like a drunk. Staggering, he walked into his room and lay down on the bed. Suddenly Lisa was in the room and approached him, then Derek passed out. Until late getting up and late coming to the meeting. All of a sudden Lisa appears and claims to be his wife. Angry Derek finally realizes that Lisa is a person who has a mental disorder. He told Lisa to go and talk to a psychiatrist to treat her illness. He also said loudly that he did not want to see him again at any time.

The incident had a long tail. When Derek returned to his hotel room, he found Lisa in her bed, pale and unconscious. It seems like he tried to commit suicide by taking medicine in large quantities. Inevitably, Derek contacted the receptionist to send medical assistance and take Lisa to the hospital.

This incident finally made Sharon know that there was something between her husband and Lisa. Lisa managed to create a condition where Derek was seen as a villain. That Derek teased him and had been having an affair with him all this time. That he tried to kill himself because Derek tried to dump him. Even the police who take care of it, Reese (played by Christine Lahti) also believes that Lisa is the victim in this matter. But, Lisa told Reese, that she intended to leave the city because her sister would pick her up from San Francisco.

The problem left the household of Derek and Sharon in disarray. Sharon kicked him out of the house and Derek stayed in the hotel for 3 months. But Sharon finally melts, when Derek invites him to dinner to celebrate his birthday. They intend to improve their relationship again and Sharon has forgiven him.

While they were having dinner, Lisa visited their home and met the baby sitter Sharon had assigned to look after Kyle that night. He managed to deceive the baby sitter by saying that he was a close friend of Sharon and he had come from out of town. He only stopped briefly to deliver a gift for Kyle. After that he excused himself and the baby sitter just said yes without paying attention to him coming out the door, because he was busy listening to music.

When Derek and Lisa returned, they didn't find Kyle in his room and were confused when the baby sitter said that Sharon's friend had come to see Kyle. They immediately knew that Lisa was the one who pretended to be Sharon's friend. They were busy searching here and there and calling Reese to report the abduction. But then they found Kyle in Derek's car safely saved by the lipstick on his forehead.

Reese then suggested that Derek and Sharon create an alarm in their home to avoid Lisa from entering quietly. They left Kyle at Sharon's sister's house and planned a weekend vacation at Sharon's parents' house. Because of his work, Sharon had to leave first and Derek would follow the next day. Sharon was already in the car when Derek reminded her not to forget to activate the home alarm.

The forgotten Sharon finally decided to turn back to the house. Meanwhile, it turned out that Lisa had managed to get into their house through a kitchen door that had no alarm installed. He knew that Derek would be alone at home that night. He made Derek and Sharon's bedroom a romantic place for both of them. He brought a bottle of wine complete with his glass, then sprinkled rose petals on the bed, took off his clothes and lay back on the bed.

Sharon who returned home caught him and they both fought. Sharon was angry because Lisa always tried to damage her household, while Lisa tried to kill Sharon so she could be with Derek. They are both trapped on the 2nd floor which is under repair. The floor was fragile and Sharon trapped Lisa until it fell and penetrated the fragile floor. He hung and tried to climb but failed.

Sharon who feels sorry finally intends to help him and stretch out his hand. But Lisa intends to bring him down with her too. When Sharon managed to break free from Lisa's clutches, she fell on the glass table below, but was still alive. He looked at Sharon who was still stared at him from upstairs. Lisa was still trying to move when suddenly the chandelier fell to her death.

Sharon managed to leave the house and meet with Reese and Derek in the yard. (2009)
